		<description>Great post Paul - it can be hard to remember that being best friends with your customer is not your ultimate goal especially if you see your competition as being BETTER friends with your customer than you are.

I think that you hit it on the mark when you said that what we really need is our customer&#039;s R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Now the tricky thing is to find out just how one goes about building that respect. Perhaps that&#039;s a topic best covered in another post...
