I have to give you a &quot;Wow&quot; also.  Best stuff I have read about selling in a long time.  More to say, but very busy today.  Will come back again.

Been selling for over 25 years in high-tech.  Companies today are missing the boat on how sales really happen.  You have addressed them.  The biggest deal (M&#039;s) I ever signed took  lots of care, conversations and dinners. My clients counted me as one of their staff and a confident for their business and management problems. I delivered on everything I promised and they rewarded me with all of their business.

More to say! I&#039;ll be back.

My perspective from years of hiring and managing sales people and them more years providing sales automation solutions tells me that newly hired sales folks get very little guidance.  The bring a TON of false assumptions about the right way to sell and the good/tough ones learn what you&#039;ve so eloquently stated above the hard way, bit by bit.

The good news is that its not really that difficult to stand out from the pack.</description>
